Resort Mechanic: Asessippi
About the Position
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Year Round

Wage Start: $15.00/hour
Primary responsibilities of this full time, year-round position:
- Ensures that the Asessippi resort vehicle fleet and all mechanical equipment is maintained and repaired as required. Fleet/equipment includes school buses, light pick up trucks, cars, snow groomer, Telehandler, forklift, genie lift, track hoe, bobcat, dump truck and lawn & gardening equipment such as mowers, tillers, etc.
Duties include:
- Set and carry out preventative maintenance schedules
- Inspect, diagnose, repair and service mechanical and electrical systems
- Ensure water pumps for snow making are in good working order; diagnose & repair as necessary
- Lift mechanics and general help around the resort as assigned during the off season
The ideal candidate will:
- Be able to work independently
- Possess/attain a valid Class 5 license
- Be available for a extended hours over the winter season; up to 7 days per week during busy times including, but not limited to, Christmas break and Christmas Day
- Have at least 5 – 10 years previous demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and overhauling engines.
Shifts are flexible and include daytime, evening and weekends.
